Nick Struzik
The owner of Sovereign Tile & Stone brings over 22 years of hands-on experience in high-end tile and stone installation, with a career built on precision, discipline, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. His work spans a wide range of complex residential and select commercial projects, including custom showers, large-format tile, natural stone, and technically demanding installations that require exacting standards and advanced execution.
As the only Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers (ACT)–certified professional in the Greater Houston area, he operates at the highest tier of the tile industry, adhering to rigorous installation methods and nationally recognized standards. This distinction reflects not only technical mastery, but a dedication to continued education, proper materials, and proven systems that ensure long-term performance and durability.
Under his leadership, Sovereign Tile & Stone is known for refined craftsmanship, thoughtful planning, and close collaboration with homeowners, designers, and builders. Every project is approached with meticulous attention to detail—from substrate preparation and layout to final finish—resulting in installations that elevate the space and stand the test of time.

Sovereign Tile & Stone maintains a strong commitment to continuing education and professional development to ensure every installation meets or exceeds current industry standards. Ongoing training is a core part of the company’s operating philosophy, allowing us to deliver technically sound, durable, and high-performance tile and stone installations.
Our education includes regular participation in industry-recognized training programs, manufacturer-specific certifications, and hands-on technical workshops focused on evolving materials, installation systems, and best practices. This includes training directly from leading tile and setting-material manufacturers on proper product selection, surface preparation, waterproofing systems, large-format tile, and advanced installation techniques.
Sovereign Tile & Stone has completed and maintains Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers (ACT) testing, a rigorous, performance-based evaluation recognized as the highest standard of tile installer competency in the industry. ACT certification validates proven skill in complex installations, attention to detail, and adherence to ANSI and TCNA guidelines.
In addition, we actively engage in National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) educational programs, including technical seminars, workshops, and regional and national training events. These programs emphasize current standards, emerging technologies, and real-world problem solving to ensure installations are executed correctly the first time.
